For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21, NLV).	The Way Looking for the peace of God, truth, and purpose for life independent of our relationship with God results in sin. Jesus is the atonement of our sin. By the shedding of his blood on the cross Jesus paid the penalty for our sin reconciling sinful man with a holy, just God. Jesus is the only way to a right relationship with God that begins with forgiveness of sin.
You are truly my disciples if you keep obeying my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free (John 8:31-32, NLV).	The Truth Our relationship with God in Jesus requires obedience to the truth. As we obey his teachings and the leading of the Holy Spirit who is given to all sons of God, we learn the truth about God and life. The truth sets us free from the bondage of sin that we might live in peace with God. Jesus is the only way to the truth that preserves our right relationship with God.
And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. (Romans 8:10, NKJV)	The Life Our relationship with God in Jesus leads to eternal life. We die to our sinful nature by forsaking sin. We begin a new life in the Spirit by obeying the truth. As a result we are made right with God and receive eternal life. Jesus is the only way to an eternal relationship with a just God. He alone provides the forgiveness of sin, provides truth where we can be made right with God, and provides the gift of eternal life.
